THE PLACE OF GHOSTS- MONTE CRISTO HOMESTEAD

Monte Cristo Homestead was very famous haunted places in Australia and it raised many questions among the ghost hunters. There are many people who witnessed the ghosts moving on the staircase, in the verandah and inside the castle. Many ghost hunters have had a very interesting experiences while this place was haunted. 


MONTE CRISTO HOMESTEAD IN 21ST CENTURY



 This was a two storey house in Junee in Australia with wide verandahs and beautiful iron work which is opened for thousands of visitors every year. The house belonged to William Crawley and his family in 1884. It was said that the ghost of old Mrs Crawley was seen many times in the former room.
MONTE CRISTO HOMESTEAD IN 19TH CENTURY


The owner of Monte Cristo Homestead , Reginald Ryan narrated the following experiences occurred in the castle.
MRS AND MR CRAWLEY

According to him, They moved to this great castle in 1963 without knowing the incidents occurred in the house. They had been in the residence for three days and went out to get some supplies for the house. Shockingly, they noticed mysterious lights in each and every window on their return from town. After they entered the house those lights were immediately off. They again noticed this for second time. This was their first experience. 


Mr William Crawley died in this castle due to heart failure in 1910. Secondary, due to the blood poisioning caused by the carbuncle on his neck infected due to the rubbing against starched collar. His ghost was present and is seen till today.

THE DINING TABLE WHERE MRS CRAWLEY RULES IT
Mrs Crawley usually wore a black lace dress and a lace cap and ruled the house with iron rod. After the death of her husband, she left the house only on two occasions in her 23 years of life. Mrs Crawley died herself at the age of 93 due to heart failure and secondary due to ruptured appendix. She is still present in the form of ghost and rule the castle with iron fist and scared many tourists away from the castle. 

THE KNOT GARDEN:-
The local female complained that when her son was playing near the garden with some children, he saw a young boy who sat on tree watching them playing. They called him to come down and play with them but he immediately vanished. They also saw him in a black suit many times with a girl near the tree. It was also said that many children died in 19th century due to many tragic incidents occurred there. 

THE GHOSTLY STAIRCASE

CURSED KITTENS:-
The dwellers of castle in 1930's found a cat caught in a rabbit trap and was about to die. The family saved it and made friends with it. Later it gave birth to little kittens. All of the kittens died unexpectedly. Only one survived upto 5 months. But the shocking experience which occurred is that the kitten died with its stomach torn and open. With this incident they left the house and locked it forever.No pets entered the house.

DEATH OF A GIRL:-
It was also said that a women when she was a child had witnessed a murder in the Homestead. She was very rudely murdered and her blood dripping body was carried to back paddock. Many visitors experienced paranormal forces which stopped them entering the house. 

THE GHOST FOUND ON SUITCASE FAMOUS AS SUITCASE BABY

DEATH OF INFANT:-
Mediums who visited the house sensed the death of the infant at the staircase. It happened that a maid carrying her infant had the child wrenched from her hand due to unseen forces. The child died there. 

STARVED AND DIED:-
The tortured son of a onetime housekeeper at the homestead was locked in a room cruelly. He was imprisioned for many days. He was neglected and starved to death. 


 
THE GHOST CAUGHT IN CAMERA

Many people have witnessed a ghost as seen in the stables. He was burned to death after his bed was set to fire as punishment for slacking. Many ghostly voices were heard from the staircase.
